Here’s how to set up a successful business plan using your goals.

Something you should focus on for your success is having goals. Successful people in the real estate business are successful because they have goals and know where they’re going. At the Fine Homes Group, a GPS is foundational and stands for goal, priorities, and strategies.

First, you need a single goal. It could be about dollar volume, units, gross commission, income, etc. Second, you need three priorities that support the goal. Third, you need five strategies per priority. 

Work on your GPS, and from there, how coachable you are. For example, the GPS in your car will often recalculate the route for you, so are you going to listen when a coach is telling you to do the same with your business plan? Finally, how accountable are you? Accountability isn’t discipline; it’s ownership. With accountability comes great success if you’re willing to be coachable.
